Sorry I hadn't reviewed this before, but I have followed along since Bryce stammered his way from Audra's arrival to hide behind his mother and sister. I enjoyed every bit of the ongoing "scandal" and have cheered the way consequences have caught up with the Van Burens' and their manipulations. My favorite part (which I have re-read several times and snickered and chuckled each time) was the "enlightening" of Bryce about his misstep over Audra's appearance and mode of transportation. Andrew and Corum gave wonderful descriptions of Audra's brothers and how they might react. Nick and Heath's arrival and conversation was delightful. The way all the girls of the town came out to see Bryce and family off was wickedly fun! This was a wonderful read and I will be eagerly awaiting future stories from you. (And to think all this was from one small little non-event!) Firefall

Loved this chapter! Bryce certainly got what he deserved! And for one who didn't follow "proper etiquette" in asked for the date, Bryce certainly was judgemental about Audra!

Oh boy, I think I'm going to enjoy the results of this family's attitude just as much the second time around as I did the first time! They're nuts.
