Somehow you pulled this off without making it seem silly, kept them in character, too. Good writing.

I was hoping there would be more to this story because just loved the concept so much and, wow, did you deliver. What a perfect follow-up! Sometimes I read a fanfic that is just so real to me, I can't help adding it to cannon. That was this story for me, absolutely loved it!

That was a wonderful addition, amplification, and fulfillment of your first chapter's tale. Well done! Whether by intuition, telepathy or whatever, Booth in your story did come to Brennan and coach her on escaping the cruelty of her foster parents. My mom had spot on intuition about people, and if you were smart, you listened. Her gut was never wrong about what occurred near her or far off. Some people are seers, not in the sense of that blonde NY psychic on tv, but in a spiritual sense. I can put full credence in your story, having been raised by an Avalon type person, not with the use of tarot sense but in the sense of knowing what's happening at times. Loved it!

My goodness, there are so many fine moments in this chapter-too many to list them all. I will say that your last two sentences of this chapter took my breath away! They're just haunting...in a good way. So glad that you decided to write this second chapter.
