That was probably one the scariest hunts Sam has taken part in. The description of the shadow peeling away from Sam was so scary! No wonder Sam freaked at the shadows from the headlights after his experience. Dean was a dick to tease Sam about it, especially so soon after. Thank goodness Cas was able to take Sam away from Dean, and that Dean won't be allowed to hang with them until he can be nice. serves Dean right, to be left alone!

Ahhhhh, what a great story! :D I can see why Jared would want to see something like this... that would be genuinely terrifying, to have your own shadow turn on you o.O Especially if you're an angel, and your wing shadows try to slice you apart, omg!

This was awesomely timed for Halloween, so I'm glad you shared. And OMG, the image of Cas trying to hustle pool with Dean, and scaring everyone senseless! XD And the equally adorable image of that very same angel accidentally sweet-talking a lady into giving him soup for free... Hey, it'd definitely work on me, he could charm free soup from me any day! :)

Awesome case fic! And a perfect Halloween read :) Dang, the idea of having your own shadow attack you is horrifying lol. You did great with the descriptions in this one, it was the perfect mixture of creepy, suspense, and of course your typical TFW banter. Cas and his hustling misadventures :P Poor Sam too, who knew losing your shadow could be so bad for your health? And yeah, Dean, you need to lay off the teasing. Anyway, I'm glad you did another Halloween fic this year, they're always fun!

Oh man, I totally want to see this in the show! What a great Shadow Man story :) and a wonderful Halloween fic to boot! The tone and atmosphere is perfect; light-hearted but spooky where it counts, just like the holiday n_n

I'm glad that this was a more Sam focused fic, considering this is Jared's common request :) and it was also a very satisfying Sam/Cas friendship story, which I personally always love to see and was even craving lately, haha (perfect timing!).

A very interesting plot and a well written story! This was very good - I do think Dean could do with being a tad more protective, though! He had his moments in here, but Cas was providing most of the support, which although great probably wouldn't happen like that... Dean would have to be absent!

First of all, you gave me Cas feels. How dare you! Second, I love how you introduced Cas' wings to Sam for the first time! We don't get to see enough of Sam and Cas' relationship on the show and I love the little snippets we got in this! I love it!

Poor Cas, wings can get tricky sometimes..
