Wow, I just discovered this story and I love it! It's great to find a team-based, non romance fic, and with the case is connected to one we are familiar with. You really got the team's personalities down. You didn't overdo the torture on Reid as so many do. I tis wonderful. I'm so glad I found it.

Oh dear, poor Reid! That message is pretty ominous. I'm wondering who this unsub is and what he has against the team.

I KNEW IT!
I knew it was Dr. Arthur Malcolm! Studying human behavior and criminology really does pay off, doesn't it? It certainly does for me.

Here is how I figured it out:

1. In chapter 1(or 2? I have to check again.), Reid could not move any parts of his body except for his eyes and eyelids. Just like the victims in the episode "The Uncanny Valley".

2. Dr. Malcolm said that Reid took away his daughter and his practice. Malcolm is a criminal who is a father and had a a job that required "practice."

3. A criminal that has or had something against Reid would target him first. Reid found out about Dr. Malcolm molesting his patients and his daughter, leading to his arrest.

Im glad your back. I loved Papa Bear Hotch and can Hotch bring Jack to the hospital to see Spencer? I can imagine Jack begging his father to have Spencer stay with them because Jessica can take care of Spencer who can help Jack with his homework.

There's always time for poker. At least his mind is still working. I can understand, though, why Reid want to move around. Hopefully, later on in the day, the doctors will give the OK for him to take a short walk.
On another note. I hope Garcia finds out more information about the building of the basement and how Dr. Malcolm paid his bills.

I think Spencer should have asked Hotch if his mom knows where he currently is because she would be worried after not getting a few letters from him. Or Hotch could have pulled a book that he knew that Spencer was hoping to read and he offers to read out loud to him as his way to get Spencer to fall asleep.
