Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. This is deep. Like damn, son. I had never really thought about this part of the drama before, and what Yo's intention was. I remember being briefly curious about his take on Hae Soo when, during the episode when Yo shouts at her before he dies, I realized we'd never had a chance to see them interact much. I was like, "Huh, wonder what Yo thinks of Soo, and what she thinks of Yo." This was really cool. Thanks.

Throughout the series my mind and heart were in a constant battle, my mind told me he was a villain but my heart told me to give him a chance. In the end when Yo died I couldn't bring myself to see him as a villain. I tried so hard not to feel sadden by his death but in the end I did. I guess it was because he stated that he was only trying to survive. In my opinion this one shot helps solidify the fact that Yo wasn't a villain because, let's be honest, we would all do the unthinkable in order to survive. On another note, your one shot was very beautifully well written. It was written in such a way that I could see it merging into the drama without disrupting the original story being told. Keep up the good work, I'll be looking forward to it.

I was so hopeful until the end that Yo would write a decree that So and Soo must get married even though she has a scar or that's its Soo's future son that will become crown prince as a way to give her more power than Yeon Hwa. I enjoyed reading Yo's thoughts.

Is there a reason why Yo refers to So as his second brother? So is the 4th prince and his mother's third son.
