| Itz Kraken chapter 1 . 4/21/2019 Artemis is the goddess of childbirth yes, however when I wrote this a few years ago I perceived her as just that. Childbirth and raising/caring for a child are 2 entirely different things. The line I think you are pointing out was meant to convey a certain irony that despite childbirth being one of her domains she didn't truly ever care for any baby she delivered.
