Fumin Ruin here(or what I call myself)! And I am Just. In. AWE. This entire story is just marvelousness. It’s dark. It’s...light? It’s got more twists and turns than Filmore’s grandma’s pretzel twist. This story is on level with some of my favorite fanfics. As a Filmore fan(dang the 2000s were gooood) this story struck as being rather unique. It delves into the deep, the dark, the ugly. The revengeful maniac former jilted lover is just sheer genius! I The idea of Ingrid’s photographic memory turning against her is original. Most people would simply say that she remembers everything good and happy like her first kiss with filmore or something. But to be honest that would be the problem with having a photographic memory: imagine, you are undercover in some underworld organization. You meet the boss. Make him fall in love with you. He does but too deeply. You break up the the organization... and his heart. What does he do. He comes for revenge. He nearly gets it to. You remember every. Single. Detail about being his lover. You remember his face when you break his heart. It tears you apart for the rest of your life. You will never EVER forget his face. This just shows how disturbing being undercover can be. So let’s give a standing ovation to the author for this story. This book is better than a lot of published books from authors such as Rick Ricordian! So thank you author

Firstly, thank you so much. Thank you so fucking much for writing this and 'The Patroller and the Thief". I recently binged Fillmore in two weeks and when I realized there was only two seasons I immediately had to fill up a hole in my heart.

Fanfiction was my go to and I'm so happy I came across this one. Your writing is incredible and you managed to nail the characters spot on especially Ingrid! Ingrid seems cold in the series but when she's with Fillmore, she smiles and shows more emotions with him and I love that you brought that to the front.

I've never had a panic attack before but the way you wrote it honesty made me want to scream in pain. Ingrid must've felt to terrified to relive that moment constantly. I like how Ingrid eventually went to a doctor and got professional help. People sorta ignore that officers see and do things that cause panic attacks and PTSD.

The entire crime will always floor me. HOW DID YOU PLAN IT OUT? YOU GENIUS. LIKE SHAKESPEARE? HOW? I was wracking my brain to figure something out the entire time but how you planned it was amazing.

Lastly, I love how you wrote Ingrid and Fillmore's relationship. It was fluid, natural and you could see how much they care for each other.

I really hope you keep writing and I will definitely read your other works! 3

I don't know how I'm only now stumbling upon this, it's bloody brilliant, all of your pieces that I've read thus far have been.
I wish I'd have seen this when you first published, I could have given you some insight as to what life is like with a photographic or an eidetic memory in terms of dealing with trauma/ post-traumatic stress.

Anyways, stellar work and I will be waiting to see what you publish next.

I loved this story. I can't begin to describe how nice it was to read such a well done Fillmore! story especially one that was written recently relatively speaking. It is such a great show that doesnt get enough love. I loved how you captured them in high school. I've seen others attempt it, but not quite as well. You managed to transition what was great about the show to that setting seamlessly. If you ever visit this fandom (especially this particular universe you've created) I will be back in a heart beat. I loved how nonchalant Fillmore was about being shot. I would have loved to have seen the squads reaction to it. With Tehama and Anza all panicked about how they left him and Vallejo being all panicked that his hot headed detective got himself shot. I can just picture them running up to him all panicked and him trying to play it off. Also, can I say that I loved the friendship between Tehama and Filmore. Such a great guy/girl friendship. I love the squad interactions. Thank you for sharing this.

okay if there isn't a "cheesy" sequel where there's a KISS or SOMETHING i'll be thoroughly disappointed. you write much too well to not come up with something to satisfy that need... but all good writing takes time. so don't rush anything. i want my sequel to be PERFECT. wink wink ;)

such a great piece of writing though. it seemed well thought out and wonderfully strung together. you've got talent! hope to see more from you soon :)
