Reviews for Monster
ArkhCthuul chapter 6 . 4/22
Nice, if not really my cup of tea.

Now I hope you can put this to a satisfying end in one chapter.

I really don't want to have read another superior yet dead worm fic...
ArkhCthuul chapter 5 . 4/22
That? T?this is...

2ow. What did I just read? I mean earlier chapters had disturbing parts, but this? Another level. And amazingly well done.

Bravo!
ArkhCthuul chapter 4 . 4/21
Weeelll, poor Taylor. If even a drugged up chronic pain suffering squealer can see she's an emotionless wreck... Ouch.

Also, nice buildup.
ArkhCthuul chapter 3 . 4/20
Well, this was good

Really good. Love the totally amoral but not really evil cherie to bits.

Let's see where she and Taylor will
Go emotionally..
ArkhCthuul chapter 2 . 4/20
Weeeellll, the aftereffects of the second are frightening. A stranger fear eating shaker with master sub powers. Ouch.
ArkhCthuul chapter 1 . 4/20
Huh, I remember reading this back in the day, when the end of this chapter was around where it ended.

Nice to know there is more. Even if I still would like to read Taylor's first reaction to her new Form. :)
SeanHicks4 chapter 7 . 3/13
Interesting take, I don’t see much where Skitter redeems Cherish, or where Skitter’s alt power is a switcheroo with another cape, I think I like this Night version better than the only other one I remember when Lung got a mix of his and Skitter’s power while she joins New Wave as a more Western style wyvern/dragon and her emotional trigger is more fear and distress...
ISleep chapter 3 . 2/15
poor leet, the duo has plenty of potential, but I suppose such a strict Taylor would never truly explore it anyways. Still, a shame that Uber might also end up wanting to kill her now, and that he may step his game up or leave the scene entirely now that his bro (who he made fun gameshows and such with because its fun and didn't hurt anyone) is done in by a new cape for no reason
ISleep chapter 2 . 2/15
interesting how Cor got a power mixed based off Heartbreaker (Master) and Taylor (Fear-Based, Sight-Based). Really cool power, even if I hope she dies xD
Iryelb chapter 7 . 2/6
Wow, I really liked this story. I don't remember when the idea came to me but at some point, it hit me that every aspect of Taylor's power is geared towards making her a better hunter. Fast, strong, tough, infinite patience when tracking, the ability to hold perfectly still and not react, only able to act when the enemy can't see you, no need of sleep, can attack literally in the blink of an eye, no remorse, and she literally can't stop herself from going for the kill.

I was also kind of hoping when they decided Cherish would go by Pride, that Taylor would change her name to Wrath. I am kind of glad you didn't if just because I really like Taylor calling herself the Monster and the Girl but I feel you could have kept that even if Taylor had decided to change her hero name.

This was a really good story because it all feels fairly possible, going by the one change made to cannon and rolling from there. A monstrous Taylor who feels this pressing need to hunt and kill, with no more ability to really empathize with people or feel guilt, would try and channel herself into making the world a better place. Even if that just means killing off the worst parts of the world. Also, she was just a bit suicidal at this point in cannon and turning into a literal monster can't have helped that much. I really wasn't expecting Cherish, cause I don't bother much with the tags, but I absolutely love their weird interactions. With Cherish having been some kind of crazy, having joined the nine originally, and pushing the dangerously amoral Taylor, a girl with a will of steel but a hairs breath from deadly violence most of the time.

I feel like the timeline gets a little screwy here and there, apparently, this all happens, this being Taylor's time in Brockton Bay, over the course of like two weeks, based on Panacea's arc, when I would have thought like a month or so but it's not really a big deal.

The only question I really have is, when are you going to start The Wild Hunt? Cause, honestly, I would love to read more about Monster and Pride.
Guest chapter 7 . 11/5/2019
When’s book two?
Guest chapter 5 . 10/14/2019
Taylor truly has some fucked up ideas about redemption
Guest chapter 7 . 10/11/2019
Sequel when?
Absolutely brilliant.
Noneofit chapter 7 . 9/26/2019
Awaiting book two.
ISleep chapter 2 . 9/25/2019
U know dragon is gonna be kinda scared of Taylor right? Nilbog was an S-Class threat. To put that in perspective, the only other S-Rank threats include the Endbringers, Sleeper (who has some sort of Matter Manipulation/Creation based off perception. I think it makes illusions for anyone who can perceive him, and then make those illusions into reality no matter what that illusion is), Bonesaw with her death plagues, Glaiste I think, etc. A monster killing Nilbog has to be around S-Rank threat, aka a Threat to the World.

Also, S-Rank is akin to a Kill Order, so noone can come at her for killing Nilbog, just like how noone can get mad when someone kills one of the S9. Heartbreaker and Nilbog were only tolerated becuz they stood in one spot, and we're happy staying where they were. Same with Sleeper, tho they kept constant survailence over him for any sort of activity. Glaiste is Birdcages, Ashbeast is slow and predictable (if he was any faster, he'd be S-Rank, tho the fact that he fought ), etc.

Ashbeast in fact likely can't be killed. He's controlled by his shard, one of the first and most notable ones (Another notable one u may notice is Khepri, aka when Taylor told Amelia to take off her powers maintenance and limits, which led to her mind rapidly deteriorating until she couldn't tell aggression from celebration and such. Ultimately was put down by Contessa, who found out that at this point it was either put down now or would kill uncountable amounts of people down the line.)
