This is really good writing but what happen to the usual style?. You are using I a-lot compare to your earlier style making the story sound amateurish unless this style is intended which kinda make sense to read it at wally's POV. BTW I don't read author's note so if it's intend than my comment is null and I've waste your time reading this letter, sorry about that.
