Amazing story! Awesome, I loved it.
...except for one tiny detail. I know, I know, it's a nit-pick. And without it the plot wouldn't be possible, so I can let it slide. It's just a problem I've noticed in a lot of fanfics, not just here.
The "there is nothing to draw a circle with" part. Because there is ALWAYS something for alchemists to draw with, if they're determined enough. You know what it is, don't you? Blood. Especially if Ed was injured, they wouldn't even need to make themselves bleed to have "ink" to draw with. Especially in such a desperate situation, I doubt either of them would have hesitated even if they had to make self-inflicted wounds.
Heck, Mustang once CARVED a transmutation circle INTO HIS OWN HAND! And Ed drew a bloody (literally) soul-bonding array while BLEEDING TO DEATH after losing a leg! These two are hard-core, man. No way they would have given up so easily.
...Still, I know what did story is meant to be and what it wanted to accomplish. And it accomplished it really well. I'm just a meanie who picks on details like that. Please feel free to ignore me ;)

That was so perfect! I loved it!

Read this and loved it! I actually am a fan of the fact that it wasn't really about one singular person causing them damage. Granted, the bomb was caused by someone, but they're essentially non-existent. Which I rather enjoyed. Loved the moment's between Mustang and Edward too! You're a talented writer, and I very much enjoy the atmosphere with which you write these characters.

Even if it is only two days away, I don't know if I can wait that long, so I read this instead. And it was so good! I got really nervous with Ed almost drowning abs I kept telling myself that he'll wake up. He has to because this isn't AU (then saying...I hope this isn't AU). But the suspense was deadly in itself.

wow that was a nice one shot you got there :) ,and it yet again shows how much trust Ed and Roy have in each other when they find themselves in a dire situation.
