Margo352 chapter 20 . 3/18/2019
It hurts how much your story displays emotion, humanity and mental health. Sometimes I have to take a break from reading because I'm feeling to much. I'm glad that the big prank is only trash but Austin has sent TJ to the hospital so much already, I worry about his can't he lay off? Vince, Vince vince...his old best friend and spinelli just rip me apart. I can see spinelli acting out because of her anger and ability to hold grudges. Vince's follow the leader sucks but the things he says about "stop acting depressed and be normal...' man that hits close to home huh? I never thought I'd see the day Mikey show hate but I think they way you wrote him stays true since he's only really focused on his theatre ect. I thought Gretchan would be more forgivibg because shes smart and woukd know about mental health stuff but when you pulled in the grades it all made sense, like that episode 'good old TJ'. Gus's charecter seems to be staying out of it all. Sort of like the "i have washed my hands clean of this sin" in the bible but by not getting involved when he had the power to he might be committing the biggest sin. I am worried about TJ. Austin's plan mat not be anything big but his distraction plan sure is going to do a number on TJ'S already fragile mental stability. Why does TJ have to go to school? With this much serrious damage and danger I think his parents should look into online schooling. It takes down the stress immensely since you can work anytime and you don't have to be surrounded by people.
Ranting here. I guess I've gotten too attached. Proud of Randell for looking into everything. Was amused by Robert's interaction with TJ "Don't think I don't notice that sent of smoak on you" "...I can explain" (I'm suprised about the smoking to be honest. He's like 12, but you defend it really well with him thinking it's good because it calms his nerves and have a friend hook him up after placing the temptation in front of him.) Robert and TJ really have fallen into an older sibling realationship with TJ trusting and talking to him. I'll be honest, I really missed king Bob these last few chapters
Hey, I know life sucks and mental health Is bad and middle school is rotten and everything but...please, please let this story have a happy ending. Let your charecters get through it. I'm not sure If this is another story in a squeal or what, but whenever this whole tale comes to a close, please give TJ an ok content happy ending. I'm not sure I can take it if everything ends in misery. (I know this isn't my story, I'm sorry. Not trying to offend. Yiu write so much emotion into these and I love your writting and take on life, I just hope everything ends up ok in the end) love u !
Alright chapter 7 . 11/6/2018
you could at least not stereotype vince like that
Moin chapter 16 . 3/30/2018
Long text incoming!

Hey! I found this story a while ago and think it's pretty good!
Something I noticed while reading was the german.
I don't know how familiar you are with the german language but there are some mistakes I want to point out since I'm german :)
Please excuse me for any grammar/spelling mistakes I might have made.

Chapter 1

'Wie geht es Ihnen heute?'

Grammar wise 'Wie geht es Ihnen heute?' is correct.
To explain why it's wrong I have to explain the four german cases, because the teacher should actually ask: Wie geht es euch heute?

The nominative case:
The nominative case is the base form of the noun and describes the subject (the person or thing that performs the action).
To find out what the nominative word of a sentence is, you can ask Wer...? oder Was...? (Who...? or What...?)

The accusative case:
The accusative case (also known as the direct object) is the thing that is acted upon (it „receives“ the action).
To find out what the accusative word of a sentence is, you can ask Wen...? oder Was...? (Whom...? or What...?)

The dative case:
The dative case (also known as the indirect object) is normally the noun that receives something (normally the direct object, which is in the accusative case).
To find out what the dative word of a sentence is, you can ask Wem...? oder Wo...? (Whom...? or Where...?)

The genitive case:
The genitive case is often used to show possession or the relation between nouns and found after certain prepositions, adjectives and verbs.
To find out what the genitive word of a sentence is, you can ask Wessen...? (Whose...?, From what...? or What of...?)

Here are the translations of 'you' into german:

Singular:
Nomitaive case: du
Accusative case: dich
Dative case: dir
Genitive case: dein, deiner

Plural:
Nominative case: ihr
Accusative case: euch
Dative case: euch
Genitive case: euer

Mind that these are the INFORMAL translations! The following are the FORMAL translations used both for singular and plural:
Nomiative case: Sie
Accusative case: Sie
Dative case: Ihnen
Genitive case: Ihrer

The formal forms are also always capitalized, the informal ones only at the beginning of sentences.

In the case of '"Wie geht es Ihnen heute?" She asked.' the teacher is the nominative case because she is asking the question, thus performing the action.
Wer oder was fragt den Deutschkurs, ob es ihnen gut geht? - Die Lehrerin. (Who or what is asking the class how their are doing? - The teacher.)

Like I said above it should actually be 'Wie geht es euch heute?'.
The 'euch' part could actually be accusative or dative. So we need to ask Wen...? oder Was...? or Wem...? oder Wo...?
Wem oder wo fragt die Lehrerin, ob es ihnen gut geht? (Whom or where is the teacher is asking how their are doing?) would actually be grammatically incorrect, so it can only be the accusative case!
Wen oder was fragt die Lehrerin, ob es ihnen gut geht? (Whom or what is the teacher asking how they are doing?)

Now why is it important that it's the accusative case instead of the dative case when in both the 'you' is translated into 'euch'?
It's actually quite simple: In school the students address the teachers in a formal way while the teachers address the students in an informal way.

So the right way for the teacher to ask how their are doing would be: 'Wie geht es euch heute?'

'Das ist grossartig! Mein name is Frau Addams. Wie heissen Sie? Warum nehmen Sie diese Klasse?'

Nothing much is wrong with these sentences.
The 'n' in 'Mein name is Frau Addams.' should be capitalized, since all nouns in german are capitalized.
'grossartig' and 'heissen' should actually be written as 'großartig' and 'heißen', though it's alright to write 'ss' instead of 'ß' if you don't have the 'ß' available on your keyboard.

Instead of 'Klasse' I would actually say 'Kurs'. That's because in Germany each age group of students (born roughly in the same year) forms one or more classes per grade. One class contains about 20 to 30 students that share one class schedule and thus have most of the subjects (I have eleven subjects this school year) together at the same time. Changes are possible, though, when there is a choice of subjects. For example if the students can chose wether they want to take spanish instead of french or art instead of music. Classes will than be split and newly merged for these subjects, which are called 'Kurse'.
Also, it sounds weird if you use 'Klasse' in this context instead of 'Kurs'.

'Wie heissen Sie'
Again, teachers address the students in an informal way, so it should be 'ihr' instead of 'Sie'. Because of the 'ihr' the word 'heißen' is conjugated differently. It should be:'Wie heißt ihr?'

'Warum nehmen Sie diese Klasse?'
I would actually say 'Warum habt ihr diesen Kurs gewählt?' - 'Why have you chosen/taken this class?' (Like with the ß there is a different way to write the 'ä'. You can use 'ae' instead.)
Again, it should be 'ihr' instead of 'Sie' and again, I would use 'Kurs' instead of 'Klasse'

'Ich bin in dieser Klasse, weil...?'
Again, it's grammatically correct. Again, I would use 'Kurs' instead of 'Klasse', so it would be: 'Ich bin in diesem Kurs, weil...?'

'I-ich bin in dieser.. Klasse weil...'
'I-ich bin in diesem.. Kurs, weil...'
Again, 'Kurs' instead of 'Klasse'. Also, you forgot the comma.

'Es klang einfach.'
While this is the correct translation of 'it sounded easy' if you connect this part to the beginning of the sentence 'Ich bin in diesem Kurs, weil...' it would be 'Ich bin in diesem Kurs, weil es klang einfach.' which is grammatically incorrect, so it should be:'Ich bin in diesem Kurs, weil es einfach klang.'
If the teacher finished the sentence grammatically correct for the student then it should be 'Es einfach klang' instead of 'Es klang einfach', though if she didn't finish the sentence grammatically correct you can leave it like this.
(Again, I hope you understand what I mean)

'Ich nehme diese Klasse, weil ich Schwierigkeiten haben, auf Deutsche zu schreiben.'
Again, I would use 'Kurs'.
I would say:'Ich habe diesen Kurs gewählt, weil ich Schwierigkeiten habe, auf Deutsch zu schreiben.' (I have chosen/taken this class because I have problems writing in german)
The 'n' in 'haben' and the last 'e' in 'Deutsche' shouldn't be there.

'Oh, so sprechen Sie schon Deutsch?'
I would either use: 'Ach, du sprichst schon Deutsch?' (Oh, so you already speak german?) or 'Ach, also kannst du schon Deutsch sprechen?' - (Oh, so you already know how to speak german?) (I would use the latter)
Again, teachers don't use formal speech when addressing a student.
While we also use 'oh' in german, I don't think we would use it here, at least for me it comes more natural to use 'ach' which translates to 'oh'.

'Ja, da war ich wenig.'
Now, thats grammatically wrong. I would use:'Ja, ein wenig.' (Yes, a little.)

'Das ist sehr interessant! Bis zum Ende des Jahres, weren Sie in deuscher Sprache zu schreiben sein.'
It should be:'Das ist sehr interessant! Bis zum Ende des Jahres wirst du in der Lage sein, auf Deutsch zu schreiben.' (At the end of the year, you're be able to write in german.)
You can also use 'Schuljahres' (school year) instead of 'Jahres'.

Chapter 4

'Gibt es etwas, TJ?'
In this case it doesn't make any sense in German, I actually would use 'Alles in Ordnung, TJ?' (Everything alright, TJ?)

"Ich brauche Luft. Kanna ich in das Buro des Schulleiters?"
In german you would rather say 'Ich brauche frische Luft.' (I need fresh air) instead of 'Ich brauche Luft'.
Also, 'Kann ich zum Schulleiter gehen?' (Can I go to the principal?) would already be enough to clarify where he wants to go. Though, If you want to include the office part of the sentence you can use:'Kann ich zum Büro des Schulleiters gehen?'
Like with the 'ä' you can use 'ue' instead of 'ü' if you don't have the 'ü' on your keyboard.

'Es ist fur mich. Kann ich gehen?'
A simple 'Ja' instead of 'Es ist für mich' would be enough. 'Es ist für mich' while grammatically correct sounds strange. So it would be:'Ja, kann ich gehen?'

Chapter 9

'buchtein'
Can it be that you mean 'Buchteln'? I looked up 'buchtein' and only got pictures of mountains...

Chapter 11

'Schneewitchenkuchentorche'
It's just 'Schneewitchenkuchen'

I hope I could be helpful :)
Can't wait for the next chapter :D

(It’s been a while since I’ve revisited this show’s section) Hopefully I’ll find time to read through the rest of your stories soon, University is really kicking my ass at the moment. I’d love to talk to you sometime but sadly don’t have an account on here. I am on tumblr(same name) so feel free to message me there, or if not maybe mention it whenever you update and I’ll make an account to pm you because you seem like a really cool person and I love your characterizations, also takes me back to a lot of my mental health experiences. Regardless of whether you want to chat or not I really appreciate you writing these, and I can’t wait to read the next chapter as well as the rest of your stories! Thanks .
