Just to let you know, I actually have couple of stories bookmarked on my phone that I check everyday and yours is one of them. It may have been over a year since you updated but it’s still a great story regardless

Yo this is some of the best storytelling I’ve ever seen inside of the Star Wars fandom not that I’ve read a large amount of it but it strikes me as particularly impressive and fun to read

Much like yourself I find myself emerging from the shadows blinking and a bit confused. Hopefully life has become a bit less... unexpected, if it’s still unexpected well I can only encourage you to make what plans you can and pursue them with diligence.

First of all one of the nice things about coming back after a while is to be able to notice how your writing in general has become more confident throughout the process of writing this story. Sifo-Dyas and Dooku play off each other wonderfully it’s quite apparent why they are friends despite such marched marked differences in temperament and views.

Also I noticed you’ve gone and revised a few things in the penultimate chapter. I can only wait and see how things play out but being willing to change your mind is absolutely something good writers do. So good on you.

No doubt Sifo-Dyas is feeling pretty crap right now and already being tormented by council-members waggling their fingers at his disobedience. Thanks to this chapter its all to easy to imagine him grimacing and groaning at the mere thought. Of course he’s not going to sit around and wait for that. Heck if he’s lucky he may even be able to prevent the council from hearing about this.

In the meantime of course it’s all pretty serious, but if nothing else its a good illustration of why she and Roloh should have tried to mend their fences a lot sooner.

So I just binged this whole fic over about a day and a half... Great stuff. One of the best Start Wars self-inserts I've seen, I have to say. (I once tried to write one. It didn't go well.)
I certainly look forward to seeing another chapter!

Okay, this chapter is *really* interesting. Most SI stories don't invest this much energy in explaining the mechanics of how the self-insert came to be, but you've developed a remarkable richness of mythology to make sense of things. I'm not sure how necessary this chapter is for the story, but I'm still glad to have read it.

(Also, as a Catholic, thank you for this. Your description of the Counterpart as *existence itself*, as the source and wellspring of life that spoke all creation into being, as the unquenchable love that eternally calls to us... I don't know if I've ever read a fanfic with a better grasp of theology. I especially loved your description of how the Light Side and Dark Side responded to the 'Counterpart', why they both shy away from it, because its Love is so utterly beyond their comprehension. So good)

I read in many Star Wars fanfics that the authors don't know where the prophecy comes from - not that I know anything certain but wasn't this whole prophecy thing an invention from Darth Bane and Darth Plageious experiments with the Dark Side of the Force created the pregnancy of Shmi Skywalker to confirm the prophecy for the Jedi so they would get overwhelmed with the baby (Anakin) - Darth Sidious had an unholy interest in him after all.
I don't know where i read this but this kind of sounds really profound
