I'm interested in this story! I think your writing is very good overall and I like the direction you have hinted at with the plot. I like both Harry Potter and Tales of Demons and Gods and I would not have assumed I'd find a crossover of them. I hope that the relatively low review numbers will not dissuade you from continuing. I think the ideas of cultivation and soul realms are probably difficult to grasp without having read Tales of Demons and Gods so unfortunately I think you might lose people there. Regardless, I am a fan. I hope that your creativity has not abandoned you and that this is not the end of this story. It is very good so far and it seems like you've just finished setting up the ideas for the main plot. Don't quit before you've even begun!

Very interesting premise for a story, I've enjoyed the first few chapters so far. I've never read either form of the Chinese tale you're basing this on, but I've been able to follow along and get drawn into the story with your explanations. Looking forward to seeing what comes next! :)
