Captain 'Murica chapter 2 . 7/13 House Dayne is of Old Valyria! Why does no one make this point? |
Captain 'Murica chapter 1 . 7/13 Ugh. I hate this pointless name-changing. Authors out-smarting themselves. It doesn't matter where the bastard is born; it matters who his father is. |
L0NER18 chapter 21 . 6/22 The ending is superb. Though the Harenhal great council could have been included a little more. |
L0NER18 chapter 10 . 6/22 The decision regarding Dany is amazing. Me personally I never liked her TV Series character at all not even a little. |
L0NER18 chapter 2 . 6/21 I'm currently only two chapters in. But so far its shaping up to be an amazing read. I've only read four GOT Fanfics so far and this one has quickly took third place. |
blood enraged chapter 21 . 6/13 id had preferred if you had continued the story form chapter 20 rather than a 'old man tells a story' ending, however i cannot begrudge you ending it either, most ff authors never end their fics properly. bittersweet i suppose is the word for it. regardless up until this epilogue, i enjoyed the fic immensely |
Guest chapter 8 . 5/20 oh my god oh my god this is so good! |
MissLuxe chapter 21 . 5/3 loved it! |
Lillith94 chapter 21 . 4/30 awesome! I love how very well struktured and planned this Story is in addition to really well written. it is far to seldom that fanfics are planned till the end and this one is. no unnessecary additional Plots and IT is focused on a few Main Charakters. All in all one of the best written fics i have Seen here. IT was truly a Joy to read |
TB Viking Addict chapter 19 . 2/25 Ooo, like the House Stormborn idea, especially for the Stormlands. I think it’s funny that Danaerys found a different way to make Gendry lord of Storm’s End, again. Lol, it seems fitting since she also legitimized him in the show. |
TB Viking Addict chapter 18 . 2/25 First of all, thank you for sharing! I love Jon stories where he doesn’t become the King in the North before finding out about his claim. I feel like those stories are really overdone. This isn’t a criticism, just an observation- I find it interesting that Jon only focuses on what Robert gave him instead of what the man took from him. I mean, he gave him Dragonstone (which should’ve already belonged to his family), but he killed his father, Rhaegar, and claimed his birthright. And though Tywin gave the order, Jon’s siblings would not be dead if Robert hadn’t taken the throne. Tywin only did it to gain favor with the new king. Lyanna, too, might be alive if Robert hadn’t gone to war for her, because she would’ve had access to a maester (though her survival’s less certain). It’s a little strange that Jon doesn’t acknowledge any of that, especially since Dany lives at Dragonstone with him. You would think she’d point all this out to him whenever he starts to feel a little too grateful to Robert. He comes off as the half glass full kind of guy when he’s kind of a pessimist with everything else. Btw- I meant to comment a few chaps back about Oberyn at the tourney, but I loved that little exchange. It made me laugh, picturing the Red Viper defending Jon’s honor. I love it anytime Oberyn gets involved and supports Jon’s cause. He’s such an awesome character. —TBVA |
JustWriter2 chapter 21 . 2/23 I am interested in helping to edit your story. |
ZenJack chapter 16 . 2/14 Death to the Mountain! |
curly-kitty chapter 6 . 2/3 Surprised Benjen didn't have an epiphany at the sight of the laughing tree. I do hope things get better for Jon and Margaery soon. |
curly-kitty chapter 5 . 2/3 He definitely knows. And a valid point from Arthur. He's not mad about Jaime killing Aerys, he's mad he didn't protect the children. I feel kind of bad for Benjen here. He knows there's something going on, can feel the undercurrents, but had no idea what it is or where they lead, and it scares him. Then there's Oberyn... Being tormented by memories of his beloved sister, the same memories that had him accepting Jon as his future King after the momentary murderous impulse. I think in the right circumstances he and Jon could be good friends. |
