i know I'n late and I hope this will be continued, but one thing you could do is have Allen's Noah somehow miraculously bring him back to life. Like even in the actual story he died like twice and came back (once as nea and once in the forest), so it would make sense xD

Allan can always come back as a ghost and haunt Kanda. They can sorta kinda crazily resume their relationship with Lavi and Lena looking on in concern... something like that. Sort of like a consciousness that they all share in.

Like, maybe have Allen not *dead* dead, but like, deep inside of his mind. Meanwhile, his Noah powers are slowly fighting the virus, but it takes maybe a few weeks for Allen to wake up, as a sort of half-zombie thing? So by then Kanda and co. have already left long ago, so Allen tries to reunite with them. When he does Kanda and co. don't believe it and try to kill him again like *bang bang* *no stop i'm not a zombie!* *BWAAH CONFLICT!*

Please, please continue. I go with option three. Maybe even though Allen was bitten and died twice his inner Noah kept him from dying while everyone thought he was dead. And the Noah have regeneration abilities that probably could heal the virus. Meaning that because of the bite and the two deaths the Noah in Allen woke up and decided to save its host so it wouldn't die or be some sort of zombie-Noah XD.

Yes, continue. Stories like this one are hard to come by. I'm taking 3. So how about continue how Allen was bitten from the last chapter and instead of waking up right after that, he was in a coma for a few days before he wakes up? His body is trying to fight the virus, and in turn, it had altered his DNA and somehow made him immune to the effects. Give the surviving exorcists a reason why they want to hold onto Allen's body after he had been bitten like they wanted to have a better place to bury him or that Kanda just couldn't let go of him yet. Please do think about this idea and I hope that you will write the next chapter soon.
