good story so far can't wait read the next story

Oh, I really feel as if I know Kami and Hildy ...and all of the gang and I never watched the show! What a great job you did at introducing them to me and all of your readers. I love that the progress is slow - and we can to see and 'feel' what is going on for the characters. And I love that it's set in New York! Wonderful job on your first story! So glad to hear there is more ...and soon. Cheers.

"Wow" is what we say, too. This chapter moves the story along beautifully. But it is one of the most heartfelt chapters, too. It's not just the words you choose to express their feelings, but also the depth of what it is they are feeling - the anxiety, the hurt, the hurt from the past. It's all there and wonderfully written.

I love how protective HIldy's friends are of her. They are chivalrous in an old fashion albeit unnecessary kind of way. I think Hildy can handle herself just fine, but find it endearing that her coworkers/friends are so willing to make their feelings known. The song is a perfect description of what seems to be going on for our two ladies. Bravo! Another great chapter.

Slow and study - now that is a good motto and plan for personal and business life. I like that a lot. However I can't see too much time passing before they study each other rather more intimately!

I love that we're getting a real sense of where these women are at the moment by hearing their inner thoughts. The pace is good as it builds and takes us along. Good job. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I love how Kami sized this group up. I'm glad, too, to see how protective they are of Hildy. I think they were checking Kami out, not only as an investor/partner but also for Hildy's sake. Kami really gets to her every time they speak.

I love these characters. "How do you get to the heart of the matter?" "It's easy, I do not think like a cop, and I try to place myself in the other person's shoes." Empathy, baby. Nice job. I like that Hildy is struggling with this decision but listens to her heart about what is right for all of them. And what did they find out?

Well, Hildy and Terry thought they were in charge of the interview but the tables turned so quickly on them, I think they didn't realize what happened. Kami is in charge. I like that she's confident, but not obnoxious about it. She knows what is best for everyone involved, and she's very diplomatic about it. Great chapter.

Well Kami's one cool customer, and she knows just what she wants, doesn't she!? I don't mean a partnership in the firm either. I'm up for grabs if Hildy's decides she's not interested...Characters are shaping up nicely. Thank you author.

Oh I am enjoying this story. Fascinated by how they both sensed something immediately. The power of women's intuition. Love the process they're going through to figure out what's going on. Oh, the self discovery of it all ! Great chapter.

I love Edger and David's teasing, I love these characters - and how they all get along. It's only Chapter Two and already I feel as if I know them. That is a testament to your writing. I see Hildy's struggle - as she comes to terms with herself - the practical side who chastises herself for swooning over a voice - of a stranger, no less - and the emotional side whose heart skipped a beat - upon hearing that voice. I can't wait to see how their meeting goes - and if the smooth as honey voice - comes with the kind of person Hildy really wants. Great job!
