Damn Inuyasha is dumb, but overall, I enjoyed it.

Ok so this is the second time reading this in a matter of few days, as I am just discovering and devouring your stories. I feel this is so _in character_ for all of them and felt the same dynamic with the unfolding of the relationship as in the original story. Maybe it is just me. But I am thankful for your writing, I think that is my main message.
Also, please somebody tell me that there exists somewhere an illustration of Kagome's instagram feed :D

Always love your stories, and your InuYasha-inner-monologue-thing is always awesome, but I really wish you'd have a closer world set-up to the original sometimes, or at least reintroduce the whole demonic aspect of it. It's not just the supernatural element it gives the story, but I think feeling like an outcast in that way is something that's so uniquely InuYasha that it sometimes feels like a lame copy without him. And being not just accepted but loved by a full-blooded demon, two (or three if you count Kikyo) holy persons and a demon-slayer to boot (some of which have serious reasons to hate hanyous) adds a dynamic to their odd little family that's just plain missing otherwise. Hopefully that's not too harsh a criticism, because when I'm in one of your stories, I'm IN it - I would just feel like starting a lot more of them if they had a bit more of that... je ne sais quoi that I loved about the original.

Phew that was a lot longer than I thought it'd be. I meant for it to be somehow encouraging and convey at least some of the affection I have for one of the first good authors I found on this site even though life is weird and I barely have time for anything let alone FF at the moment XD

Had to re-read this story AGAIN just because it’s so wonderful. I love the way you capture Inuyasha’s inner voice in your writing without going into first person. It’s a great style and so enjoyable to read. It had me laughing out loud so many times. But there’s also something so sweet and endearing in the story too, but it’s not just spoon fed to the reader. It’s there in subtle ways that build up slowly and come together in such a beautiful way. This is so much more than a frat house story, it’s perfect.
