Long fanfictions about this ship are really scarce... especially your work! This was really well-written and you're really meticulous when it comes to descriptions.

But yes, I'm so in love with your story, it's romantic and the plot's really good. I'm looking forward to their secret meetings (ones that are affectio- oofff) and how they will resolve the problems of their relationship (they make my heart hurt ughh).

I sense that Kostas actually likes Etoile, but he stands no chance with Arslan involved. Worse case scenario seems to be the traitors dropping a hint that lets the Lusitanian soldiers know and Kostas will go on a brash charge to kill Arslan since he's not a very subtle fellow.

Their seems to be a high chance that Etoile will lose her knighthood if that's possible and she may well be reinstituted as a knight of Pars by Arslan before becoming the Queen of Pars which will take quite a while. I reckon at least more good years need to pass by since they're way too young to start having kids. I think in their time, 25 was about right for the prince/king to start having children? If I'm not mistaken, they're both 19 here.

This story is missing Narsus, I mean he could find the traitor pretty quickly, but I doubt he'll be pulled back into the capital anytime soon.

Also, did Arslan abolish slavery here yet? Because that in itself would have shaken the court's faith in him dramatically. And there's been no real mention of that here yet.

I'd reckon when things do come to light, Arslan will want to speak with them and hold a public meeting about it. His main point of argument will be there thinking is what brought about the sacking of Pars. If they truly care about the Pars and it's people to ensure that it never happens again, then they'll have to put aside their differences and learn to cooperate with Lusitanians and if someone wants to attack Pars again. Let them, because next time Pars will have more allies, more soldiers and greater support from the general populace to see them through anyway.

Of course if they won't listen to reason then they are free to leave. The conspirators will probably voice that this is not the Parsian way, to which Arlsan should agree and say that it's better. Because he wants a Pars that grows and lasts

If that doesn't work, I believe they might try to pull a Julius Caesar on Arslan, but at the last moment Etoile is trapped as well with him. Daryun will most likely be held up or too incapacitated to help them in time. Elam will be there too since he's always there! They will need a miracle to escape it though.

That's how I imagine it going.

I do find the a but hard to follow and distracting and I'm confused as to why you don't use speech marks. However, I look forward to the next chapter!

Also, do you have a native English speaker as a beta reader, because I think it'll help as there are some odd bits here and there that break the flow of the story, but it's not too bad. :)

The calm before the storm. I hope someone finds out about Cyrus's plans soon before he deals a lot of damage to not only Arslan's ruling but also Arslan's relationship with Etoile. I definitely love the way you've written the interactions between Etoile and Arslan and how they're going to deal with this forbidden relationship. Kind of hoping for Daryun to change his opinion about Etoile in the future chapters since he doesn't seem to be too fond of her.

I think Daryun would be fine as long as Arslan dosent remain a single forever

Woahhh, this chapter had my heart fluttering and the fact that they did the "deed" had me screaming internally! I'm so glad to see this story being updated again!
I'm getting really excited about how this is going to turn out for Etoile and Arslan and what will happen to their relationship since there are so many obstacles in their way.

I’ve re-read this chapter and I love it. You described the romantic setting so perfectly, leading to a sweet, yet passionate kiss between those two star-struck lovebirds, and It moved me! When Étoile runs away from her happiness and Arslan wanting to go after her made me feel sad. They deserve to embrace their love!
