Third oldest in a family of 12 kids here. Have had MANY of those nightmares. Can totally relate.

Oh my gosh this was perfect! I’m actually the youngest of my family, so I used to have those same nightmares, just in reverse: something horrible would happen to my family and I’d be left all alone. I would wake up in tears and go running for my parents. This story is brilliant. I love the sibling bond between Lance and Pidge. My favorite thing! Brilliant work!

Guuurl your fics are top noch, and I mean it! Pidge was bad ass in this and I was like, "Dayum son" when she shut Allura up lmao. And that lil tidbit about the height thing? Perfection! My shorter friends always smirk when tall people make fun of them and I recognize that grin that Pidge had. I've seen it before! It's the grin that only short people have because that is them saying "You mess with my people Imma literally nock you down to my level and beat your mother f*ckin ass!"

Omg, this is frickin fantastic ! :’D I love this so much, Pidge protecting Lance and standing up for him was so unexpected and brilliant ! Poor Lance, that nightmare was horrible but he tried to push through training anyway! And then when he was telling Hunk about his nightmare, the way he described it was just heartbreaking because he wanted to act like it was no big deal :’( I love Hunk finding out he has a fever and comforting him about the nightmare ! And even Shiro and Keith were worrying about him too ! :’) I love this so much, this was so frickin fantastic ! And this was so brilliantly written, I’m in love with this ! :’D

Is it bad to say that I really enjoyed that it was Pidge who yelled at Allura? I am always here for those tight Galaxy Garrison bonds, not to sell the others short obviously, but I love incorporating the backstory. It definitely feels like a season 1 fic, to its benefit.

Yikes. During that beginning, I was all but praying that it was a dream sequence. I felt Lance's fear. Still, Pidge's rant was my favorite part of this story.

THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN. NEEDS TO HAPPEN. I always feel like everyone is too hard on Lance. He tries really hard and sometimes thinks a little differently than the rest of them, but he is smart and creative and puts his whole heart into everything. I would LOVE to see a scene where Pidge steps in because you are completely right: Lance covered for her at the garrison. Most likely more than once. I would be so proud to see her face off with Allura. She's a fierce one.
