Story is alright. Not good, not bad. Cho and Harry are terrible together, though it ends with some potential in a relationship for them.
This fic is just...extremely naive. Nothing bad happens to any of the 'good guys'. Harry, every one of his friends, all the teachers; the worst injury any one receives is Harry with a broken bone, mended in seconds. None of the death eater attacks do any real damage when anyone even remotely close to Harry is around. Harry has visions of Voldemort torturing people, among other things, but all victims are completely insignificant to the story.
The plot with the serpent's tears potion fizzled out and amounted to nothing at all.
Harry is a pig, happily showing Ron and even his cousin pictures clearly meant for Harry alone.
I could pick apart more, but I think my point is made. It's not a bad fic by any measure, but nothing of any real depth is present. There's nothing to raise it up to be considered a good story.

Just thought I should mention: "Will and the Word" would be "Voluntas et Verbum". "Animus accedo" means… well, nothing, really. "Animus accedit" would be "the[/a] mind approaches", and "accedo ad animum" would be "I approach the[/a] mind", but the specific forms of the two words that you have here don't really fit with each other. (And "addictio" isn't any help; it's an obscure term for a legal award or sentence, and, like "animus", can only be used as the subject of a clause.)

That lst 1.5 chapters were well done. Had to look up some Chinese. Loved the Phoenix (what else for a saving personality) and who needs a . if he has more phoenix traits. Love twisting Petunia on how she might not like a grown up Diddlykins after all

Did you say long winded? That is not being insulting, just confused. The italics section went on and on. Learned art of war yada, yada. Sorry, at that point i just scrolled down until italics stopped. Did fell guilty? Maybe, after all I tend to not read stories under 40k words or more. The ending wasa anticlimatic to say the least. Harry's speech was right on the money, though

I liked this story for the most part. My sole criticism is that there are things that are thrown in that are fascinating plot points of their own and then never mentioned again. Such as the attack on the castle during the thunderstorm. What was it? How did the defense happen? Wouldn't that have at least warranted a mention in the DP? It also didn't really have a real ending.

the writing is good, but I'm a third of the way into the story and I don't really know what it's about, and romance troubles don't seem to help move the story

I love this! People have mentioned Star Wars in fics before but a mini-Star Destroyer dispatching TIE fighters is adorable and funny and brilliant! Well done!
