An interesting idea with some ups-and-downs on execution.

Bruce Banner is a compelling choice for a Sekirei cross-over and his themes of self-identity, acceptance, and personal control are easily compatible with Sekirei. Likewise, Bruce's "in-stride yet too tired" nature works well to ease your way through the typically rough opening most Sekirei stories have.

As a matter of personal taste, I think cross-overs that fuse the worlds together are better over the easier to write "they were transported there" because it allows for the worlds to bounce off each other. For example, MBI's responses might be a lot more interesting if they were aware of the Hulk already. As is, it is just Minaka - a genius in the lore - complaining and doing very little. On a similar train of thought, the Karasuba vs Hulk fight failed to establish any real boundaries on power-scaling the two worlds.

Playing with the dynamic of Uzume/Chiho is pretty good and adds some grounding to get Bruce into Sekirei proper, but his relationships with Kuno and Yashima seem half-hearted thus far. Kuna, at least, seems to have gotten some attention with her ability to reach out to the Hulk. Probably something you plan on getting to soon, though.

All in all, this is a fairly good read that has not really hit its stride yet.

Yaaaaaay! You’re back! I honestly thought this story got abandoned for good, which made me sad, but I know most people have lives to live and sometimes can get too busy to write. Glad you’re doing ok though.

I have to admit, I’m thrilled at the idea that more Marvel characters could possibly show up. Maybe even the possibility of Bruce not being the only Marvel character to become an Ashikabi (Crossing my fingers for Steve, because that could be kinda hilarious. After all we don’t know what the heck was in the serum, so maybe something in it would make it possible?)?

Hmm... Comic-verse Iron Man and friends showing up in Sekirei? Five bucks says he gets Matsu.

I do hope that you will be coming back to finish this story someday, I was actually enjoying it.

I just have to say that I’ve really enjoyed this story so far, I found this around the same time you last updated it so I’ve been coming back to check for updates since, I’ve re-read it several times and I still enjoy it each time. I didn’t review sooner because I didn’t have an account at the time and honestly I’m a little lazy and didn’t think you would see this but I decided what the hell. Reading this and some other story’s really helped me get through school, I always had something to read to de-stress myself.

I really do hope that you continue this story, the story is good and I think nicely put together, it’s a really unique one that’s out there. I don’t think there’s any other one out there with Bruce/Hulk as an ashikabi or him in general but I could be wrong. There is one with the thing from the fantastic four, that’s the closest one I can think of, that’s a really good read too I highly recommend anybody who reads this to go check it out, it’s called “Things Change” it hasn’t updated in a while though. So that’s all I have to say really hope you pick this up again but if not I’m just glad that this at least exists, well I hope you and anyone who reads this has a great day.
