The most BEAUTIFUL fanfic I've read in a long time. I always was curious about a story that doesn't portray easterlings in an evil light, maybe finding love too. I have up trying to find one in high school. No idea why I suddenly thought to look now, years after college but so glad I did. I noticed you're writing a star wars fanfic, so you probably have that on your mind... But will still be on the lookout for more easterling/harad stories!

Re the “controversy” about Helms Deep, I must admit I hate it when writers continually kill Haldir off at Helms Deep when neither he or any elven army ever even fought there – the Galadhrim would have been far too busy defending Lothlórien against the forces of Dol Guldûr, to be spared for the defence of Rohan. Personally, I don’t understand why anyone would want to kill off such an interesting elf. Seeing as he is almost a blank canvass, why kill him, rather than invent a future life for him.

I would like to see a story about Mellyrn and her life in Imladris as an apprentice Healer. Perhaps she could become the love interest of one (or both) of the twins – or maybe even of Glorfindel or Legolas.
