I don't know if I've read this before, if I've commented or what, but this is good.
I personally believe that Steve Rogers was a Christian, that he believed in the God of the Bible. So many people either don't realize this, or choose to ignore it. It's nice to read something good-quality that holds this subject and doesn't have Steve bashing God for dumping him in this age he doesn't know or belong in, or simply turning away from this fairy tale. So, good job on that.
And another thing; this piece encouraged me too. Reminded me I don't need to understand everything that happens, just need to have a little faith. Pray, even when it feels like I don't deserve to.

I JUST REALIZED I COMPLETELY FORGOT TO REVIEW THIS, OMG OMG OMG! I am so sorry...this story is AMAZING and I literally couldn't believe what I was seeing while reading it. There are so many Christian authors who make valiant, challenging attempts to show the reality of how faith, and specifically how ONE faith in Jesus is truly applicable to all of life including in fictional realms. Usually any of mine tend to turn out pretty awkward or preachy (usually). This makes me want to attempt it again. I can tell you absolutely wrote this from experiencing what it's like to be on the skeptical side at some point, and changed by His love the very next. I love how you showed that side of both Natasha and Steve, and mentioned that Steve probably did go through some kind of doubtful period in his faith during the war and in the aftermath. I can definitely see that happening. This is so beautiful and makes me want to praise God! It's so easy to forget how wonderful He is for giving us new hope every day when we feel like we have none.
