When scrolling through Fallout crossovers, I thought the description said “protecting people against magical tyranids” for a few seconds.
That would be an unpleasant experience

I don't know Fallout, having never played the game, I'm not sure what to think of your story, I just feel that this is just a simple retelling of Foz with a different character.
certainly there are differences like the fact that the Mc isn't lied to Louise. But for the rest? a simple retelling

reading this again since there’s a new chapter and I can’t understand why I liked it in the first place, instead of using your creativity to make a believable story you ruined it by twisting it to stay canon and in doing so made the made the main character an idiot.

I believe you mean "John Doe", that was the name he took when intimidating Mott in ch 4 or 5.
