I also thought that Yumoto was quite the lonely child outside his interactions with his brother and senpais, especially in the second season in the New Years episode. This piece managed to showcase that...and also helped reconcile me to Aki and Haru, two characters whom I had a difficult time liking mostly because of their antagonism towards Yumoto (he's like my precious child in that series).
