Wonderful story! I was beyone impressed, and the longing I got from Cas and Dean just tears my heart in half! I'm so saddened that Cas is so obviously in love with Dean, and Dean knows it too, but it's just something that's brewing in the back of his head instead of right up front where it needs to be! My mom has started watching Supernatural and I've had to hold my Destiel comments to myself, but she just got to season 4, now I can educate her on the topic! Loved this story and I can't wait to read more of your stuff!

I'm not even gonna get started on Mary, I think were actually talking about that on another review still lol. I can imagine how hard it would be to write something while it's goin on, but I am still in love with this.
I loved how Cas just took a knife for Dean and Dean went on without a second though, typical Dean when Sam in in danger, but my poor Castiel! All his angel mojo is being used at a high point today. I do like how your Mary reminds me of how I pictured Mary's return, caring, concerned about her boys.

Great chapter as usual. :) I love how Mary and Cas are slowly developing some kind of mutual understanding. I'd love to see how Mary gets to know Sam as an adult. It really must be hard for her.
And of course I love the Dean/Cas interaction. ;)

I loved that last line; "Tact is not Dean's strong suit." No it's really not, but we love him anyway lol. This is pretty good, keep writing!

I did catch Misha's livestream about the spelling of Cas' name. I'm still convienced the writers of the show spell it wrong, it's us the fans that know how to spell his name. Oh and don't even get me started on 12X1. I know exactly how you feel, at the hug I looked over at my husband (who doesn't like the show and I try to tell him about Destiel but he rolls his eyes) and even he said, Okay I get where your coming from now!
Okay onto the story, I can imagine Cas smelling like petrichor, it's one of my favorite smells, so good choice. I liked the little 'high five', Mary is no fool, even if Dean pretends to be, he knows deep down. Can't wait for the next chapter.

The memories that flooded Mary's head when she saw/heard the Impala broke my heart, she missed so much. I'm not a huge John fan, he did too much damage to his son's and I think Mary is getting that picture big time the abuse he gave his children. Maybe she can make up for that.
I can see Dean teaching Cas to drive, I think that would be funny, though he did drive a car after the angels fell, so maybe he taught him long ago and never really trusts anyone to drive Baby lol.
