I love it when you write little domestic scenes for Charles and Elsie. It feels like I'm peering through the doorway into a private moment between them and it's so lovely. The ease of their love and relationship is palpable and always makes me smile. And the ending with the changing of the sheets ... sheer perfection. Swoon.

You know how much I love your stories, and this one is no exception. It warms me from the inside to picture this little scenario between them, and the domesticity of it all. Lovely, as always.

Lovely as always. Presentation would be so ingrained as a part of who they are. I always assume their cottage is beautiful and always in order, even if the corners aren't quite sharp enough for Himself. But it's those little touches, the ones that are hardly ever consciously noticed, that make the whole picture come together in comfort and style. So of COURSE she'd have the most amazing sheets, even if she and Charlie are the only ones who ever see them. :)
