Great story!
I always thought they got out of that situation a little bit to easily.
It was a little bit too lucky that none of them was seriously hurt in my opinion.
Your story is more realistic.
You're writing is good and I like that you don't rush things in it cause healing -physicallly and emotionally - takes its time.
I also have to say I'm a big emrey shipper and I like where and how you are going with their relationship in your story.
But that cliffhanger...
