So, the first thing I want to mention is that I'm French: so, the use of the term "Commonwealth Federation" (which, as I understand it, is the body that directs human society ), makes me want to burn all the Pangea (it's practically heretical as a term, honestly).
And in a tone that corresponds more to the story (that's it, the irritation related to the term is down, sorry for that), the story starts very well and your style is very interesting.
I know that the last update dates from a long time ago and that my review will probably not even read, buuuut I wanted to write it.

Great and good to know that you will continue the story.

Remember me? I proposed a start to this story a year or two back. I wrote a scene where Human explorers hiked over a mountain range dividing the Humans and the animals. I've begun to write more often and better now. It hurts to read some of my sold stuff, and hopefully, I'll feel the same in a few years when I read the stuff I'm writing now.

I couldn't quite drop the whole "Human in a foreign world" thing. On the other hand, I wasn't quite up to building another Zootopia series. I've posted in /r/hfy, which has a lot of things I think you might be interested in. You should check it out.

Anyways, I'm just saying, I'll always be on board if you want to follow through with this. If you have any ideas, just PM me.

You don't have to take my advice. But I was thinking that when talking to Nick, Ben is more calmer, sarcastic and gives out nonchalant and smart-alecky insults disguised as pleasantry and will strike him lightly only when it's necessary. Maybe make Ben more smarter than Nick when it comes to mocking puns and wisecracks.
