| whumpdeedoo chapter 1 . 10/27/2017 Normally I don't review (something I should remedy), but this fic was just too amazing. I've yet to see another fic about Jamie's mother, and it was wonderfully unique, as was the idea of a Guardian helpline. The characterization of both Jack and Susan was exceedingly well done, and I could really feel the depth of their relationship. They both helped each other regain faith, and they both helped each other feel less alone. It was beautiful. I also really like the (perhaps unintentional) theme of growing out of, and then eventually back into belief. It felt very genuine, which is an impressive feat when the subject matter is imaginary friends. Masterfully done, I adore it. It's my new favorite ROTG fic, and I can't wait to read literally all of your other fics. Please, keep writing! (Seriously, it's SO. DAMN. GOOD. I LOVE IT. And you say you wrote this while high on exhaustion? Jesus. If I was half as good a writer as you, I'd be J K Rowling.) |
