Nice bit of early slow burn here, the worry for each other, the hidden feelings. Minion being back in his very first suit? Actually, it makes sense. You convey the underlying anxiety of the chapter as a whole very well.

That last four sentences is the scariest thing I've seen all year.

This is fantastic, and I love it. The tension, the bit where she gave him the coat, all of it is absolutely excellent. I especially like the heartbreak of her trying desperately to boundaries, and him thinking shebl doeanr want to touch him...

The description of Minion and his old suit was absolutely excellent. I also really liked how you wrote Megamind's head trauma. And the fact that he's in love with Roxanne.

That endimg...! I like Roxanne's worry, and I especially liked the bit about the news app and skull-raitings. The bit where she realized her winter gear had been an effective disguise was excellent. (Also. "Citizens Arrest.") That last bit, with the text from Hal, who knows what her coat and scarf look like... I have chills. Very terrifying.

In addition to agreeing with everything Elf Kid said about this chapter, I want to say that I am impressed by your attention to detail here, Minion being clumsy in his unfamiliar suit and so forth. You've really done your research on concussions and panic attacks. I also want to compliment your continued success in keeping the characters in character. Now I'm wondering when they're going to start to feel the cold from the broken window.

Aahhh, the feels! I always enjoy that moment when Megamind and Roxanne step out of their roles in The Game and begin to make contact with each other as people, and this is a particularly delicious instance. Me three to everything Elf Kid said.

I love the details. I love the search, and seeing the scenario from Minion's point of view. The bit about "What did she do to you?!"/"I saved him from a mob!" was especially excellent. I love how protective Minion and the brainbots are, and I also love how strong and fierce Roxanne is.

The bit with the panic attack was excellent. It seemed extremely well-portrayed and accurate, and I really appreciate the fact that it was concluded. Also, Megamind having difficulty with his vision was very excellent as well. Also, I love the details about Minion being non-human, but adapting human expressive breathing patterns for the sake of communication. That is a very good detail to include, and I like and appreciate it quite a bit.

The decision to have Roxanne drive him to the Evil Lair is excellent, and also extremely interesting. I am very curious about the logic behind that (though I am certain that it's sound), and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

The angst! The talking to each other! "Why are you still here?" "...I live here." "But I'M here." was my favorite bit of dialogue. The sheer bafflement is just astonishing and delightful to me.

And the self-esteem issues. And the self-loathing. And the talking (have I mentioned that I love it when they talk to each other?).And then they were discussing logistics. And planning on how to get in touch with Minion. And. Just. Everything! I love it.

That ending. The brainbot. Megamind being designated as 'Father' to the brainbots is excellent. The brainbots looking for him on Minion's behalf is excellent. I can only imagine how Minion will react to this data that is being sent. And Roxanne and Megamind are unaware of the brainbot as of yet. Oh my. This is interesting.

This is an excellent, excellent story and I am greatly enjoying it. Kudos! :)
