hmmm I'm not convinced by Odin"s characterisation. He is profoundly OOC here, he's someone who doesn't overshare as he did here and much less apologise so easily. He is also very prideful and confident in his decisions, even when they are wrong or unfair, which is the origin of all that drama in the first movie.

Loki is also too tame and not snarky or cunning or mischievous enough even when we know that the latter is more mask than true personality it really didn't came through in his talk with Thor. In fact that talk didn't convince me. Too easy, too convenient. No personality, like too cardboard characters resolving everything between each other without the emotional history or the weight of their personalities behind it.

The grammar is alright for the most part. It's a good attempt at a story with some potential but I think if you are looking to improve your writing, some deep reflection in characterisation is a must.

I think you meant "She was in AWE with it."

Also she Hermione, loyal, control-freak, chronic worrier, proud problem-solver learnt that her parents are dead, that her friends don't really need her knowledge or her help and are in fact facing a very dangerous war on their own and her reaction is the proverbial "oh" and let's go frolic in a pretty dress to meet my soulmate?

No. That is a serious misunderstanding of Hermione's character and motivation for the sake of romance. Hopefully the next chapter will remedy that but I do think Hermione's reaction and inner monologue could and should be tweaked to better reflect her personality in this chapter.

I think the basic idea for this story is really great. That being said, you really should proofread your writings because you really messed up your timeline. Also it is highly doubtable for Loki and Hermoine to marry within a few days of getting to know each other, they really should have gotten more time to get to know each other and for Hermoine to feel more comfortable in Asgard and with Loki, soulmates or not. Please remember that I'm not saying this to anger or spite you, I really think you did a great job and I'd like to simply offer you critisism to help this story to reach it's full potential.

Good story. Also this was a cute chapter and I was a bit surprised that you added Lucy and Loke from Fairy Tail. I hope that you make a story about Hermione's past with her cousin and all if Royal Flush isn't it.
