I love your writing style and there were so many times where I just wanted to hug Ace and tell him it was good he was alive. His trauma was well described. I also LOVED how you had Makino as a motherly figure for him. That was so sweet. Also Shanks worries and caring for Ace is almost as a father. Ace sure made a right decision when moving.
