Not sure why Bruce's backup plan is Clark though. Magic works in him just fine, and he has a bad habit of letting himself get hit by it. Fate would probably be over kill, but why not call in Billy? Not much difference between the Big Blue Boy scout and the Big Red Cheese, save one is an alien and the other is made of magic.

Fuck this is dumb. The Harry Potter disrespect here, this is infuriating

I hope you'll get back to Voldemort in the next chapter where after the Joker comes in to Penguin's office and you'll write a very Harry Potter-esque description of the Joker from Voldemort's point of view.

I also have some ideas to help you following the story.
John Constantine becomes the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher after meeting Albus Dumbledore during his investigation of Voldemort's journey.
Batman and John Constantine go to the Order of the Phoenix headquarters and meet the other members of the order.
Hermione Granger was surprised and happy to meet the dark knight of Gotham. she told her friends and members everything she knows about Batman (his actions as a vigilante and about Batman's enemies)

Professor Constantine's methods are:

Handling of edged and firearms
demonology
martial arts
...

This did not please Dolores Ombrage who was to be the new professor of defense against the forces of evil, but she tried to introduce her teaching method to Professor Constantine, but without success.
Professor Constantine, who always humiliates this pink toad of Umbridge.

I should guess, that you never read the Harry Potter's books or perhaps it's only that you not care at all, about them in writing your story. 'Cause if so, would be incomprehensible your seeming lack of knowledge about the most basic canon Wizard magic as a Muggle repelling charm that the wizard could protect their homes and to detect and/or defend themselves from any possible , should be noted that aside of the above charm or similar ones, as the Homenum reveal, to name only a few's that there are things called wards that would detect and repel any unwanted people... But guess that you don't care about nothing that would impede or do make harder for your hero, the oh so mighty Batman/DC fan universe, to continue on his curbing stomp to the Wizarding world...

Oh boy, this is getting good. Voldemort may be dangerous and feared in his own right, but lets face it, Joker is way more dangerous and feared than Voldemort. I am looking forward to the next chapter.

I have to admire the Penguin in this situation-I'm pretty sure that there are not many people who would have the guts to say those things to Voldemort.

And bringing the Joker into play? This should be very interesting.

I have been thinking about this chapter, why in hell after the 2nd time disarming him didn't batman or Robin break the damn wand. Sure Voldemort could get a new one but it would add a whole new and interesting twist to the story as his start for a wand not matched to harry would start a lot earlier and add a new twist to the story.

This is a fascinating story and I am looking forward to seeing Joker put voldemort on ice.

I am curious why Dr. Fate, Zatanna and none of the other magical sorts of the DC universe haven't been consulted or involved. If nothing else, Zatanna could get him to Borgins and Burkes. Then there is league of assassins that would not be happy with evil looney like voldemort trying to claim their shtick of immortality.
