Loved this story! Bought it for my Kindle and read the e-book, but because very ill and just recently, a bit better! The point of that story, is because, I'm not remembering much! So I will have to read it over! Love your work!

What a story this is! Very few P&P fanfiction will have gone as far away from the original script but then hit most milestones from canon.
There is a fair amount of angst, especially in the first half (but later too) and one needs to be rational and realise this is P&P and there is a 2nd half so it cannot be too bad.
But it is a fantastic love story between our two heroes.
It is really well written.
And I can highly highly highly recommend this story.

First:
I want to say this is beautifully written.
I was so excited to start reading this and have torn through it ignoring many of my responsibilities with great joy.
I think it's an excellent story...

But I've slowly come to hate it.
Yet, I believe firmly that isn't technically your fault. I just started reading P&P fanfiction and it turns out I am one of the more annoying purists. I like taking the characters but ending with similar happy endings...
That saying, if you would have written this as a romance in that period without using P&P characters, it would be quite epic. But you lost me hard when beloved characters jumped so far out of their characters they became downright evil. Then it was pain after pain after pain... and that is a really popular and real type of writing but I personally can't stand it. I know there are many more chapters left but I have no hope you will give them a happy ending. It's too realistic, too sad and there wasn't even a time to come up for air... I was just drowned with grief like seven times. I mean, their life sucks... for like... ever... and everyone who was commendable before is absolute trash.
It's too far. And it would just be miserable to watch them scratch back to the surface...
Now, that being said... that's all my own personal opinion and what I can and can't take.
I'm one tiny person. Don't change anything on me! I just had to voice it or I would have exploded.

Still, even though I hate it because I'm an annoying picky purist... crazy proud you wrote it and think you did amazing well conveying some stuff so definitely take this review with a gain of salt. I'm just mad at myself I kept thinking there was hope and I just cannot go on like ten more chapters of no hope or crap haha. I'm sorry. I'm too much of a sissy.
