not having seen chapter 17 until today, means I am responding not to that, but this chapter.
meaning, I am not asking/begging you to call someone (anyone) who can turn your thoughts away from the Darkness they had arrived at, and the Grim Place that might follow.
Instead, I will say that, for me and many others, writing and other artistic works are not undertaken for others, but oneself. when I write (as little as that is these days) it is because there are words/voices in my head, that I must let out by putting them to paper/text file. Yes, there have been times, when others are appreciative of the result shared. But while that might make me smile, it is not why the work was crafted, or of any great importance.
Write for you, imagine and be glad of what comes of it, and ignore the 'opinions' of hateful or uncaring others.
Also, if it helps, let remind you of this:
it is said: Vincent van Gogh died penniless, having never sold a single painting. it was only after his death were they seen as great works, and sought after by collectors. much like many books/manuscripts now, rejected and ignored, yet (sometimes) found years or decades later and held up as masterworks.

You are one of the best authors ever on fanfic net! They say that you make mistakes, like who doesn’t? And things that are posted up on this net is just for fun or just cause people want to. I don’t get people that read the chapter 10 times and catch out mistakes. I mean like, if you want some thing that has 0 mistakes, go buy a book. You are definitely not a failure. And I love your fanfic. Ignore those who just bash you and take the criticism for your story as ways to improve. Your story is not bullshit and emptiness, in fact, it is one of the best fanfics with actually plot , smut and Ron bashing. I love you and your fanfic and encourage you to ignore what they say. They just being stupid and don’t know what they are talking about.

You are a amazing writer. Please don't give up. Not for us, but for you. You deserve to be published. Heck, one of my favorite authors, Michael J. Sullivan, started out self-publishing and still does Kickstarters for some of his material. Your work reminds me of his, in how in-depth you get into a character or scene.

You deserve it. Do not give up on what you want. You've earned it. If you need to take a break, or walk away from FF to focus on your book, do so, but please, don't give up.

It always amazes me that there are people out there who leave nasty reviews as if they had just paid your publisher $25 for your work and felt cheated somehow by the quality they found. They forget that you are simply a FAN, not a professional writer. You don't get paid, it cost them nothing, and most writers here don't even have a relationship with a beta. Then, to top things off, you enable them to give you feedback which the whole world can read! As if any professional author would have the guts to do anything similar.
So, try and remember that most of us don't expect you to get everything perfect. That you are displaying your craft for all of us to enjoy and asking for feedback speaks highly of your character and your desire to get better. After all, there have been many writers who have learned how to write here and have now been published.

My primary thought as they go to their pond in the woods, in the middle of a scotland winter, and frolic around nude and swim in the pond, is, "Are they nuts?" If you want them to enjoy some secluded love, why not have them discover the RoR, or you could have had them cast a warming charm over the pond and its surrounds.
