This is sheer beauty. And it's all in-character too!

Seems a little odd for Allura to say "I'm glad you didn't have anyone." I understand what she means, but it sounds kind of weird to say, and she would probably realize how weird it sounded after she said it. There seems to be a word missing from "you I have something in common".

This chapter is interesting, showing their relationship through other characters' eyes. Lance's words and overall attitude reminded me of the song "Make a Move" in "Shrek: The Musical". I'm not sure the last bit where they wait to hear Coran's announcement is necessary though. One spelling error: "wondered" should be "wandered".

This is very nice! Quite plausible too. In the show the characters hardly ever talk about the differences between their planets, something that would realistically take a lot of time and conversation. I like the shift you describe between discussing Earth and discussing Shiro's personal life.
