All I have to say it this: I loved this story! Excellent job!

This is a really sweet story. I personally don't think Doc would have waited fifteen years before he taped the letter back together, but it's the fanfic writer's choice to place it anywhere from 1955 to 1985. You did a good job at keeping everyone in character, and I appreciated the way you talked about how, even with the bulletproof vest, Doc was still terrified of dying and the Libyans' gunfire still hit him hard. Well done.
