That was a terrible thing the adults did to the kids. Maybe that's how their parents treated them. It's not an excuse, though.
I can't figure out who would do this. Maybe one of her brothers did it. Were there any other children in the household? Maybe one of the teachers felt sorry. I really have no idea.

Crying because they're both hurting

This would only happen to the BAU. But, at least this will be a birthday Garcia, as well as the others won't soon forget. Cool chapter. It wasn't the run of the mill hostage chapter.

I'm glad her brother made it out alive. I would have hated for her to lose someone him. Also happy that Rossi stayed behind to give her a lift back.

As for the only saying, sometimes you're/they're better off not knowing. I t may seem that way in the present, but it always comes around to bite you in the butt.

Glad the chapter had a happy ending. Now, back home and on to the next.

Let's hope the team gets there before Amanda's has a funeral to go to.

I always reread the previous chapter so I can recall what is happening. Hotch was well in his rights to be there. He knows Strauss and her tactics. Amanda may not have even recognized that Strauss was going somewhere she knew she wasn't allowed. Hotch came to the rescue.

I loved the last line. Not many chapters on fanfic end on a positive manner.

That was not one of my favorite episodes on the show, but you did it justice. I didn't feel like your story was rushed. There wasn't as much to say about this episode as there was with the others. I do prefer, though, the two chapters allotted for each case scenario better than the one.

This was an exciting chapter. I'm going to have to reread the past part when Amanda gets loose. Can't wait for next week. When you're waiting for something you want, time goes so slowly.

Man, I just want to learn the background information on this young lady. Since she grew up in different foster homes than her brothers, her experiences would have also been different. Can't wait to read more about her.
