Reviews for Hogan's Heroes: Only We Can Do That
NoblesseSeria chapter 26 . 11/20/2019
I read this all in a day. I loved every single letter, space and teeny full stop. A beautifully written story.
PicassoPenguin chapter 8 . 12/25/2017
I literally got chills when you wrote that a shadow had heard everything they said out the window. I then promptly checked my own windows! It probably doesn't help that I am reading this at 11:00 p.m. in the dark. Seriously though, this is great!
Ingoma chapter 22 . 9/21/2017
Ya’know, your Hogan get sick a lot! Sure nice of the Germans to be so kind to the enemy, and not just kill him like they would most likely.
2lieutenant chapter 26 . 5/24/2017
I really liked this, very imaginative, but Carter seemed a little whiny and childish. Childish not in his usual lovable Carter way.
snooky-9093 chapter 2 . 1/19/2017
I believe it is canon that Carter initially was in Stalag 5. I can picture his fear of this psychopath, but hiding in Hogans sleeve seems really out of character. Think of Carter's bravery and his acting ability.
snooky-9093 chapter 1 . 1/19/2017
Interesting start. I think Walters will prove to be an interesting character. I do prefer to see a more mature and less whiny Carter however. I liked the humorous repartee between Newkirk and LeBeau.
Sehkmet chapter 12 . 10/11/2016
Why do they have to make it clear that Walters is a sociopath? Why not a thief, or an arsonist, or plant evidence that he is a murderer? Or make it look like he is a troublemaker who always tries to escape. Any one of those would work.
Sehkmet chapter 8 . 10/11/2016
Why are they so worried about transferring Walters? In the season 1 episode "How to Cook a German Goose by Radar" they convince Klink to transfer a new prisoner because he acts generally suspicious and irritable. Since Carter is a valuable part of their operation, shouldn't anyone who could be deemed a mental hazard be transferred immediately? It's not as though the Allies would object.
MrsBeilschmidt3 chapter 1 . 9/21/2016
Carter is so cute. I've never read anybody who writes their characters with more skill, accuracy, and ease than you do. Looking forward to getting lost in this story tonight!
ColHogan chapter 26 . 9/20/2016
Sad to see this story end although I do have a small gripe. You have Newkirk wearing his medal for bravery and gallantry around his neck in the camp. That could never happen because the Germans would notice it right away, even Klink and Schultz, and one, they would wonder where he got it, and two, they would wonder how and why London knew to send it to him unless somebody told them. That leads right to Hogan having contact with London and cause trouble both for the guys and the operation, especially if Hochstetter found out.

Newkirk couldn't keep the medal in the barracks either because a search would reveal it as would the tunnels if they were discovered. My guess is London would hold onto it until after the war and then present it to Newkirk when it would be safer.
ColHogan chapter 25 . 9/20/2016
As usual Hogan comes up with an idea with which to save Newkirk. And also he gets his digs in at Klink at the same time while pointing out the obvious to the man.

Really enjoyed this! Had me on the edge of my seat at all times, really well done. :)
Terri Spencer chapter 26 . 9/20/2016
Good way to end it.
Glossina chapter 26 . 9/19/2016
Very good. I've really enjoyed this a lot. You are a very good author and one of my favorites.
Winterfrost15 chapter 26 . 9/19/2016
Great epilogue! Sorry to see this end, but I enjoyed it very much. I can't wait to read your next story. ;-)
