Reviews for At Last
Levenez chapter 1 . 11/29/2018
I have been able to buy the Kindle version on but I am not authorised to leave a review yet due to too few purchases. I will therefore write it hereand when I will have purchased a few more books I will copy it to Amazon.
The story was really entertaining but thought the beginning (first quarter) was following the original a lot. But once this part was over the writer really let loose her imagination and played with J. Austen’s characters to give her own version. There are many new characters, new intrigues, the timeline is different, and Darcy has to work longer to get his bride.
It is nicely written and definitely worth reading beyond the start.
Thank you very much!

Hi,
Since this book seems to no longer be available on Amazon, is there a chance you will be posting it on here again? I’d greatly wish to read it, and hope you consider putting it back up. It looks really interesting and I want to see where you’re going with it. Unfortunately I just stumbled on this, had I seen it sooner I would’ve read it here or on Amazon.

Amidarcy chapter 1 . 10/1/2017
I love your story - but I started reading it and I think you must have updated it and pulled some chapters down as i was doing so :( is it up anywhere else? So that I can finish reading it? Thanks so much x
tarlily chapter 2 . 9/30/2017
Complete? Surely, this is not the end?
MollyMPark chapter 2 . 9/30/2017
Congratulations! I'm glad you finished it! Look forward to reading the rest of the story!
Guest chapter 27 . 8/21/2017
£250 would be worth about £15,000 nowadays. I very much doubt that even Darcy would give Wickham such a huge sum for such a small and insignificant piece of information.
Guest chapter 3 . 8/14/2017
Netherfield is not a manse, that us where a pastor or minister of the church lives. It could be a manor house.
bellachaos chapter 34 . 4/28/2017

StephaniePm chapter 33 . 4/20/2017

HelenFD chapter 25 . 4/14/2017
The author and poet Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–1894). wrote a small poem for children in which he used Autumn and fall.

AUTUMN FIRES
In the other gardens
And all up the vale,
From the autumn bonfires
See the smoke trail!
Pleasant summer over
And all the summer flowers,
The red fire blazes,
The grey smoke towers.
Sing a song of seasons!
Something bright in all!
Flowers in the summer,
Fires in the fall!
Happy Lizzy chapter 32 . 3/24/2017
I love this story! Even though it was a little too detail in some parts. I love that everything comes together and can explained away.
Guest chapter 33 . 3/15/2017
"... do not insist on some rigid, sterile, stale 'Regency caricatures of Jane Austen's characters when you write your fanfiction. Give them hearts and souls, allow them to be irregular, human, not cardboard cutouts, make mistakes and to grow, for we all deserve to love and to know who we are, to triumph." Supercilious, aren't you? Do you know best how to properly write others' stories for them? I enjoyed your story well enough until you had to have this chapter with the so-called editorial. Not only did it reek of defensiveness for your POV, but it nearly smacked of arrogance.
