OOOHMYGAWD! This story was just... Wow

That was painful.

Notably, I feel really bad leaving a negative review on a story that you've been waiting an entire month to get a review from, but I'd also feel bad about not saying the truth about what I read.

It's not the subject matter that's the issue, though to be honest, I can't think off the top of my head of a single pregnancy fic which is completed that I thought was well written. Those are two separate matters though, having an objection to the actual subject matter, and the fact said subject matter seems to be one of the hardest ones to write.

The best way to put things is, it feels like the writers are just going through the steps. In this particular case, when I think of you going through the steps, it felt like the content and idea you had was something which should have been a much longer fic, with more depth put into getting into how the characters came to be in the relationships they're in, but also even more so the journey to the end.

So, it's not that I disliked the story. I just felt you could have done more. I can't blame you though, because as I noted there's not very many well written fanfics in any fandom for this subject either, but it's what I call a "serious subject", where one doesn't want to mess up, and sometimes that can hold one back. If I were to pick one positive thing though, I can tell the story wasn't written for "squeal, babies are cute!" purposes, but I'd also like to see what you could do if you were to try tackling this again - it does show a lot of potential.
