author12306 chapter 1 . 7/7/2017 This story was so cute! |
ODEIA chapter 1 . 10/19/2016 Hi there, I am german, this was my favourite lullaby when I was a child and I have to say there really isn't that much to criticise just one but pretty big mistake. It's "Mit Nelken bestickt", Nelken means clove, Näglein means a Nail or pin, that's nothing pleasant in either language, and especially not for a children's lullaby, don't you think? |
Shinigami Merchant chapter 1 . 9/12/2016 So mach fluff X3 |
Chessie Walker Noah-Friki chapter 1 . 8/20/2016 Hey there! I don't usually leave reviews, but this fic was demanding one and I couldn't deny it. I want to warn you that English is not my mother tongue, though, so if there are any kind of mistakes in grammar or spelling I apologize beforehand. I read your fic "Ephemeral" a while ago and fell in love with it. With this one, I think I could make you an altar. I absolutely agree that Timothy is way too young, and even adults can't bear with the weight of a war—how could Timothy do it, too? The relationship between Allen and Timothy is beautiful, and I can picture them like this in canon without any problem: Allen caring for Timothy like an older brother, in a way that nobody did for him. Link and Miranda were excellent, too, and the whole story made me smile warmly. I really felt like I was there, with them, listening to Miranda's voice and falling asleep. Between the fights and the losses, they found a bit of peace—I don't know if that was what you wanted to transmit with the fic, but it certainly was what I perceived. And I'm happy that I read this bit of fluff in a fandom overflowing with angst. I really like your writing. Your descriptions are perfect; and the way you...tell things? (Damn, I don't know the word. Relate? Narrate?) is beautiful. It's as if no word is wasted, and you use exactly the ones you need. I'm grateful I found this, you deserve all the love of the world. I have a very basic knowledge of German, so I can't tell you if there are mistakes in the song. However, it was a nice detail to make Miranda sing in her native tongue, and also the original version of the song. I know the feeling, and I'm sure that in Spanish we have a word for it. Perhaps añoranza? In English there is no direct translation, but it's like a feeling of longing or nostalgia(? I'm really sorry for the long review. I hope I didn't take much of your time. I'm looking forward to read more of your fics! Nos vemos luego :) |
sparklehannah chapter 1 . 8/20/2016 I love this. I like how you added Allen and Link hanging with Timothy and Miranda it's an interesting combination. I think the lullaby after a long mission was adorable. Great work and keep on writing. |
