I was soooo upset with the ending. So many years I kept up with Bleach and the ending destroyed me. I am seriously still mad. When I read the final chapter before work my blood pressure actually went up because I was so pissed. Thank you for this little one shot. I'm reading all the ones I can that can change or morph the ending UGH.

This made me ugly cry...So sweet and tender and tragic. This is why that bullshit of a fucking ending doesn't make sense. Because Ichigo and Rukia are soul mates...They should've ended up together in SS. Instead Ichigo is living a mundane life. He looks like a tired balding shoe salesman. Anyway I'll never accept 686.

Manga ending was disappointing. Besides, didn't Ichigo have too much spiritual pressure to remain in the 'human world'? Didn't his friends get Soul Society passes? Just wondering.

That ending was such bullshit. I was hoping for an open ended ending but no we got a big fcuk you -.- lol. The ending of the manga made me laugh a bit, IR still got that chemistry going on, interacted more with each other then their "spouse" but I was happy to see them together one last time even though it wasn't what I had pictured for that chapter to take that fcukup of a turn. I'm salty AS FCUK. Anyways thanks for making me cry some more, ugh this shit hurts so bad. Anyways fanfiction life here I come haha. Take Care!

This made my chest ache in such a bittersweet way. Totally captures the essence of the bond we've all grown to love over the years. Tearing up reading this at work... I've been fuming over the ending ever since I read it. Still can't believe Kubo gave us that clusterf*ck of an ending after all the development he's been shelling out for years. Great writing though. Probably the closest thing to closure any of us will get. :/
