I liked. I've seen less Steven Universe fanfic than I expected, and perhaps that's because people are trying to write adventures - and that's not really what Steven is about. As much as anything, it's about family and daily life, with adventures spread on top. You did family and daily life here.

The version you have on Archive Of Our Own is much longer. Not complaining - what you have here ends satisfactorily. But do you put most of your effort into Archive these days? I don't go there often, but you might make it worthwhile.

I have to say, I LOVE this story so far. These types of stories - where you get an outsider's perspective of all the fantastic stuff happening - are always so interesting to me. Plus, seeing the reactions (from either sides) never fails to get grinning like an idiot.

Like it, like it alot. Wonder what's going happen next..maybe a corrupt gem, in school...mate her classmates get a more extensive view of Connie's and the gems adventures on A field trip. Maybe a student or facility member unwillingly ,gets their hand on a gem artifact and commie has to assist one of the gems in Its' retrieval . Of Course getting caught by her classmates in the process adding to her legend.
