When I saw the summary to this story, I was so very suprise. I've always pictured Kuroko as a mist and was planning to use him as a mist guardian candidate in one of my stories, but has never found anyone else who write him as such.

This is one of the most thought-provoking fanfictions I have ever read. It's funny, because for all the wondrous mind-twisting what-ifs fanfiction offers, something truly thought-provoking is hard to come by. It illustrates the struggle beautifully. The struggle between potential and family and the struggle between morals and greatness. Especially, the struggle of being able to look out the doorway and see a world that promises to make one cry and scream but never, ever regret. It's painful, and this story portrayed that pain wonderfully.

Wow I really enjoyed reading this. Kuroko would be a great Mist for Tsuna when he's finally cleaned up the mafia. He would be a breathe of fresh air after all of the compromises Tsuna and his family had to make. I actually kind of want to see a sequel to find out how Kuroko would fit into the family dynamics.
