Finally someone wrote this! despite not playing PS3 game and mainly watching story video, Xillia2 seems lacking when it come to how original cast dealing with Julius and this section in game leave too much detail for my liking.(What kind of conversation made Jude tell the party 'well, we need to kill Julius' is beyond me) You filled that blank nicely.

On more personal note, I can't get enough of someone capitalize how Jude kept throwing himself into the mess. Fight scenes leading to the conversation, while a bit hard to read (could've use more line breaks '), captured how he kept ignoring his injuries. Make me wonder how the whole scenario would looks like without being toned down by gameplay.. which is why I keep looking for Xillia fanfic in first place.

Anyway, thanks for nice fic! Being Xillia fan in 2016 isn't half bad when being able to come across to story like this. XD
