Just like every other story you've done, AMAZING. The writing is spectacular, the characters are on point and believable, and it makes the featured character/s- for this one, being Mildew- mean just that little bit more when you watch the episodes again. Overall, fantastic job! Now, I'm off to go read your other one!

While if the series ever depicts what happened to Mildew I doubt it will be what was depicted here (more likely it will be some kind of joke scene of him still having to live on Outcast Island), this was certainly a well done examination of his character and what "should" have happened.

The thing that always struck me about Mildew (that you alluded to) was how his focus over the two seasons changed from dragons to Hiccup, to the extent that he was willing to work with someone who wanted to work with things he hated (dragons) just to prove he could outsmart or get back at Hiccup. His motives seemed to devolve/decay, but your story showed that in a real sense his primary motive was always the same, to motivate others to hate something more than they hated him and to make anyone who got in the way of that suffer.
