Aah, I loved this.
I adore Rene/Gruber stories, and there aren't nearly enough of them. I liked this one for a lot of reasons.
I liked how you kept everyone mostly in character apart from Rene for obvious reasons. I also liked the fact that he did realise that he did care about Gruber after all, because I always felt sorry for Gruber in the show. I like the fact that there are still Allo Allo fans out there. I haven't met anyone who's even heard of it never mind watched it, so this was ace.
I really enjoyed this story. Just the thing for a Sunday afternoon.
