so i had the idea of maybe Thatch offering for Luffy "aka Toothy" to den in his closet? somewhere close by, out of the way, private (ish) like if Thatch is still on bedrest but allowed to be moved to his room...gets to see black scales when cleaning the room, or something...gives a clue as to what Toothy/Luffy is...or if Luffy get's bored and wants a up close look at Thatch and hops on the bed while thatch is "asleep" and it allows Thatch to get an actual look-see of what Luffy is...? I also feel like it would be hilarious if "toothy" got in on helping Thatch prank Marco...Thatch giving "toothy" pineapples, or something else that you pick out, that bothers Marco to leave in his room...would give Thatch the perfect alibi so he can't get tossed overboard and yet still prank Marco...lol especially if Thatch figures out that "toothy" understands Human speech just fine...lol

Are you planning on having Ace still being adopted/kidnapped by the Whitebeard Pirates?
I can only imagine the HELL Sabo would raise when it was discovered that Whitebeard had taken his last brother and then have them discover Luffy was there...lol
Sabo being the overprotective, yet calm and collected "Scary Sabo" is Terrifying! lol but in a good way! lol

Oh I'm so sad the the brothers are still separated although Luffy being protective of Thatch is pretty funny, along with him sneaking all over the ship without anyone finding him. Nice story!

I can't wait until Luffy shows his human form! I dont know if you are planning to introduce "Toothy" as a baby dragon or a little boy, but wouldn't Thatch be confused at the "animal" turning out to be a human? Thanks for the chapter!

Hi, you haven't updated in a while so I was rereading this fic again because it's an incredible fic and I thought of a bonding scene between Thatch and Luffy!
What if Thatch reads to Luffy, kinda like Sabo used to do to him; maybe from the book they bring to keep Thatch entertained in the infirmary - it can even have dragons in it!

Mhmmm this is my favorite Dragon!ASL AU. Man, I love how Luffy takes comfort on the bond between his brothers while said older brothers are an emotional wreck searching for him. It's even more a mess since his brothers are essentially his parents lol (since they're both responsible in raising him). Then there's Thatch bonding with 'Toothy'. Because of course it would be a cook that would be the first human friend Luffy would have.
